The convergence of old technology and new has centralized unimaginable power into the hands of a few gigantic corporations that now dictate how we communicate with each other and perceive the outside world.
Media analyst Mark Dice details how the rise of social media that tipped the balance of power regarding the production and distribution of information has also resulted in a massive backslash from those conspiring to regain the influence they once held.
Now conservatives are experiencing widespread censorship as the tech giants scramble to put the genie back in the bottle.
The liberal media has launched an information war against President Trump and his supporters, and are using their monopolies to manipulate public opinion in order to further their aims of a socialist revolution.

In this, his latest book, he describes the war on those who challenge an increasingly radical thought regime that is curbing our freedoms and wrecking our society in the name of political correctness.
Mark describes the indoctrination of entire generations of young Americans who now accept censorship and slanted, manipulative fake journalism as the norm, rejecting old-style debate of ideas in favor of competing for the most righteous, socially just platitudes.
He goes down the list, methodically calling out all of the major Internet sources of information: Wikipedia, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, among others. Each of these companies has become dominant in disseminating a particular flavor of biased information and propaganda to the foolish, uncritical masses.
This is an eye opening account of the death of American intellectual curiosity. Everyone should read it, regardless of your political orientation and perspective. The book is heavily annotated with citations to back up his statements, with multiple footnotes on every page. His sources are solid, mainstream publications such as the New York Times.
For all its densely packed information, the book is written in a conversational style that is highly readable. Mark is a long time Youtube commentator and the writing style reflects that. In fact I feel that sometimes he goes a bit far with the lengthy, run-on sentences, and I wish the book had a bit more of a scholarly feel, but I'm an old-school grammarian. And, as stated, he provides generous footnotes.
In summary, this is a devastating exposé of a slanted, near-Orwellian New Media that tolerates no dissent in the ranks and does not hesitate to destroy anyone who dares to express an opposing thought. Frightening and sobering. You owe it to yourself to read this book and pass it on to friends!
I write this review in the hopes that there are people somewhere in the middle that would benefit from reading this book. In the book, Mr. Dice discusses in depth how the media sensors agendas that they don't like and promotes the ones they do. For example, lovely Amazon has become the #1 book "store" in America, however, they censor what books are available to read. That is a scary thought if you can see further than your next McDonald's cheeseburger and look towards the future. My own kids are constantly having to ask me if things that they have heard on youtube or at school are true. If parents don't engage with their children and pay attention, then these conglomerates will gladly tell the next generation that there are 57 genders to choose from, being transgender is super cool, and that Santa might be gay (yes, there is a book here on Amazon promoting this and it was featured on CNN). Yes, CNN featured a "children's book" about Santa and his husband. But I digress, if you think that the Gay Santa book is super duper fun, then this book probably won't change your mind about anything.
In conclusion, the media wants you to associate Mark Dice's name with "crazy" and "conspiracy theorist" but you should ask yourself why. Mark Dice discusses facts on his youtube channel and in his books (over 800 footnotes to reference), so why is he so "crazy"?? If you can think for yourself and ask yourself why you actually believe anything you hear from these conglomerates, then grab yourself and a friend a copy of this book and pray that we don't continue to let these companies control us and our children.

What I would’ve appreciated is a more scientific approach, with researched statistics giving more substance to the claims. The book is very journalistically written, and that is not a fault, but that comes with some limitations I guess.
To any right-winger I’d say: buy the book for it is a insanely good repository of facts you can use in debate, all backed up with sources.
To anyone outside of right-wing circles: buy the book for a thoroughly researched report on censorship by big tech and MSM.
To conclude, the book is worth a buy, for anyone, but only do so if you’re looking for a report of facts more than a scientific study on the matter of censorship and media-bias.

Each chapter carefully dissects a facet of the giant mainstream media and the social networks that have taken over how people get information. Everything is backed up with references on the exact page they’re referenced as mark guides the reader through the liberal media complex.
I thought I knew much of what was going on in terms of censorship but mark brought things to light i didn’t even know about.
It’ll make you reevaluate how you use social media and get your news. Personally I have limited my usage of facebook as a direct result of this book and haven’t set foot in the “featured” section of you tube unless I wanted to laugh. Not because of the content but rather the insanity of what you tube thinks I should watch.
Some people can’t handle the truth and mark exposes that on every page. It’s very educational but there’s no way it could be entertaining right???
OH WAIT WHAT’S THIS???!!
The book is very entertaining. Even for someone who doesn’t read a lot of books I couldn’t put it down. As entertaining as it is educational.
