The “media” used to mean television, radio, newspapers, and magazines; but today it largely involves social media, which has swallowed up all of these other forms and is now controlled by a small group of Silicon Valley titans who decide what billions of people are able to see and hear online.

The convergence of old technology and new has centralized unimaginable power into the hands of a few gigantic corporations that now dictate how we communicate with each other and perceive the outside world.

Media analyst Mark Dice details how the rise of social media that tipped the balance of power regarding the production and distribution of information has also resulted in a massive backslash from those conspiring to regain the influence they once held.

Now conservatives are experiencing widespread censorship as the tech giants scramble to put the genie back in the bottle.

The liberal media has launched an information war against President Trump and his supporters, and are using their monopolies to manipulate public opinion in order to further their aims of a socialist revolution.

Mark Dice! Show us the facts. And that he did!

Mark Dice! Show us the facts. And that he did!
This is a real review because I actually bought the book and then bought and sent a copy to my very confused liberal friend who says the book has opened her eyes! She wasn’t aware that there were two sides to this public media lynching of our POTUS! Mark Dice has written a well cited and informational book! Ppl in this world do not want to see that they are being swayed and tricked by fake news! It much easier for them to jump of the hate trump campaign then it is to actually research the information and make an informed opinion not based on the Lefts control of the media! Mark Dice’s book gives you cited work about how the American public is being manipulated by the media! It gives you the “other side” facts that can be used in making informed decisions! I commend him! The book is very well written with a lot of information regarding the hijacking of our media as an accurate news outlet! Who knows when political affliction will stop being the grounds for new story’s and we can go back to actually trusting the journalism that is suppose to be unbiased and fair reporting! It may never happen but that’s why we need books like this! Stop accepting other ppls opinions as yours. Do some research! See if from another more stable side! And then make your opinion! Anything less is just irresponsible!

Very informative take on the actions of technology and censorship.

I have read several of Mark's books and It is amazing that he is able to source so much material and present it in a way that is both educational and interesting. I appreciate how the sources are provided in context to the material presented on the same page, since it helps with referencing the sources as you are trying to understand the material. Mark does a great job with getting to the points providing insight into what drives these very concerning topics!

This was a very thoughtful and well written book. Mark cites most of the entire book. I didn’t fact check all the citations but I did fact check a large amount of them. I did it out of responsibility to myself to vet the author. Some of the citations were hard to find on Google. I had to search using a search engine that isn’t so biased but once I found the websites he cited it was clear that Mark is not lying to us. I haven’t had social media since 2019 because of the social control that I noticed back then and have kept current on a lot of the themes in this book. Even still, I learned new things and found value in this book. This book helped me realize even more how I need to run away from all this liberal ideology and hold true to my most basic beliefs about society and belief in God. I read this book and The War Against Conservatives back to back and I would highly recommend that book too. It is the blueprint for a movement that is long overdue. A movement that I believe most Americans are craving but just don’t realize how we can accomplish. Read this book! It will help you protect yourself and your family.

Mark Dice is a great author and this is yet another great book by him. It is a serious book about what is happening in our American culture.
Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2020
Mark Dice is not just a pundit; he's a trained journalist with an independent streak who tells it like it is on his youtube channel and has amassed over a million subscribers.

In this, his latest book, he describes the war on those who challenge an increasingly radical thought regime that is curbing our freedoms and wrecking our society in the name of political correctness.

Mark describes the indoctrination of entire generations of young Americans who now accept censorship and slanted, manipulative fake journalism as the norm, rejecting old-style debate of ideas in favor of competing for the most righteous, socially just platitudes.

He goes down the list, methodically calling out all of the major Internet sources of information: Wikipedia, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, among others. Each of these companies has become dominant in disseminating a particular flavor of biased information and propaganda to the foolish, uncritical masses.

This is an eye opening account of the death of American intellectual curiosity. Everyone should read it, regardless of your political orientation and perspective. The book is heavily annotated with citations to back up his statements, with multiple footnotes on every page. His sources are solid, mainstream publications such as the New York Times.

For all its densely packed information, the book is written in a conversational style that is highly readable. Mark is a long time Youtube commentator and the writing style reflects that. In fact I feel that sometimes he goes a bit far with the lengthy, run-on sentences, and I wish the book had a bit more of a scholarly feel, but I'm an old-school grammarian. And, as stated, he provides generous footnotes.

In summary, this is a devastating exposé of a slanted, near-Orwellian New Media that tolerates no dissent in the ranks and does not hesitate to destroy anyone who dares to express an opposing thought. Frightening and sobering. You owe it to yourself to read this book and pass it on to friends!

Outstanding book on the zeitgeist of western civilization in general, and America in particular. Although I was already aware of many of the topics the author speaks to, I learned new facts about AI and the agenda planned for Americans in the coming years.

This is one of those products that the reviews probably don't matter a whole lot... what I mean is, if you understand how dangerous these conglomerates are (google, YouTube, even amazon, etc) then this book goes into more detail and provides a well-written and thoroughly researched read. However, if you think anything that is not far-left is bad and that they are a bunch of Meany-heads, this book probably won't change your mind.

I write this review in the hopes that there are people somewhere in the middle that would benefit from reading this book. In the book, Mr. Dice discusses in depth how the media sensors agendas that they don't like and promotes the ones they do. For example, lovely Amazon has become the #1 book "store" in America, however, they censor what books are available to read. That is a scary thought if you can see further than your next McDonald's cheeseburger and look towards the future. My own kids are constantly having to ask me if things that they have heard on youtube or at school are true. If parents don't engage with their children and pay attention, then these conglomerates will gladly tell the next generation that there are 57 genders to choose from, being transgender is super cool, and that Santa might be gay (yes, there is a book here on Amazon promoting this and it was featured on CNN). Yes, CNN featured a "children's book" about Santa and his husband. But I digress, if you think that the Gay Santa book is super duper fun, then this book probably won't change your mind about anything.

In conclusion, the media wants you to associate Mark Dice's name with "crazy" and "conspiracy theorist" but you should ask yourself why. Mark Dice discusses facts on his youtube channel and in his books (over 800 footnotes to reference), so why is he so "crazy"?? If you can think for yourself and ask yourself why you actually believe anything you hear from these conglomerates, then grab yourself and a friend a copy of this book and pray that we don't continue to let these companies control us and our children.

I’ve been watching Mark’s videos for years now. Reading this book was basically like watching a long form video of his. As he does in his videos he references his sources and speaks nothing but actual facts. The book is that: a report of facts that show the corrupt and totalitarian nature of the MSM and Silicon Valley types.
What I would’ve appreciated is a more scientific approach, with researched statistics giving more substance to the claims. The book is very journalistically written, and that is not a fault, but that comes with some limitations I guess.
To any right-winger I’d say: buy the book for it is a insanely good repository of facts you can use in debate, all backed up with sources.
To anyone outside of right-wing circles: buy the book for a thoroughly researched report on censorship by big tech and MSM.
To conclude, the book is worth a buy, for anyone, but only do so if you’re looking for a report of facts more than a scientific study on the matter of censorship and media-bias.

5.0 out of 5 stars The truth hurts
Reviewed in Canada on December 19, 2019
I’ve been a big fan of marks YouTube videos for a couple years now. I’m not much of a reader but I had to see what one of his books would be like. It is exactly how he described it a “buffet” of information as oppose to his youtube videos which are mere snacks.
Each chapter carefully dissects a facet of the giant mainstream media and the social networks that have taken over how people get information. Everything is backed up with references on the exact page they’re referenced as mark guides the reader through the liberal media complex.
I thought I knew much of what was going on in terms of censorship but mark brought things to light i didn’t even know about.
It’ll make you reevaluate how you use social media and get your news. Personally I have limited my usage of facebook as a direct result of this book and haven’t set foot in the “featured” section of you tube unless I wanted to laugh. Not because of the content but rather the insanity of what you tube thinks I should watch.
Some people can’t handle the truth and mark exposes that on every page. It’s very educational but there’s no way it could be entertaining right???
OH WAIT WHAT’S THIS???!!

The book is very entertaining. Even for someone who doesn’t read a lot of books I couldn’t put it down. As entertaining as it is educational.
Do yourself a favour and pick up a copy today.
